Alison Coffey gave a five-star display over the Karlavy Vary course in the Czech Republic yesterday to keep herself bang in contention for the European Women's Individual championship.
The 32-year-old former Irish champion fired a splendid two-under-par 70 in the first round to be just one stroke behind leader Karine Icher, the former French title holder.
