Joe Calzaghe has stepped up his attack on former champion Steve Collins for attempting to gatecrash the world title scene.

Calzaghe said: "How can this man have the cheek to walk back into the world title scene?

"If, as he says, I was not in the same class, let him use me as a `warm-up' for Jones. The fact is the only belt he deserves is a yellow one."

Collins, for his part, said: "I've set my sights higher than Calzaghe and I want the Jones fight. If he gets in the way, there'll be hell to pay."
