Bluebell's persistence paid off at Capco Park yesterday with second half goals seeing them through to the quarter-finals.
This third round replay saw the home side well in control by the end after Clonmel had promised much in the early stages.
But Bluebell eventually began to get on top with man-of-the-match, Paul McGovern working tirelessly up front. The striker was denied on the half hour when Stephen O'Neill produced a point blank save from McGovern's header.
The same player then struck the post from five yards in the second half as Clonmel continued to ride their luck.
But finally on 57 minutes central defender, Liam Reilly, found the net following a desperate goal-mouth scramble.
And then with 17 minutes to go, Graham Dunning ensured victory when he beat the off-side trap before delivering a low shot past O'Neill.
