One of the more consistent performers in Ballybofey and Stranorlar this season has been low handicapper Darragh McGowan, and she finished off her season with a win.

Playing off four, she shot a highly-impressive 38 points to cut a further shot off her handicap. Her total was good enough for a one-point victory over Maureen Meenan (26), with Br∅d Carlin (35) in third on the same mark of 37 points. McGowan has now returned to college, but no doubt next season she will hope to continue her fine form and perhaps further reduce her handicap.
