A decision on King's Best's participation in the Vodafone Derby at Epsom tomorrow will be made this morning following an 11th hour injury scare.

"King's Best galloped this morning. An examination late in the morning showed him to be dragging his left hind toe when trotting. A decision on his participation in the Derby will be made tomorrow morning."

King's Best, the mount of Kieren Fallon, has topped betting on the Derby ever since connections opted to aim him at the race a fortnight after his victory in the Sagitta 2,000 Guineas.
