Belfast will host the World Cross Country Championships in 1999, the International Amateur Athletic Federation announced yesterday.
The IAAF also confirmed that next year's event will take place in Turin, Italy, with Marrakesh in Morocco the venue in 1998 followed in subsequent years by Belfast and Faro, Portugal.
