RACING:The Plate Day crowd dropped by over a thousand from last year to a total of 18,145 yesterday. The bookmakers' tally of €1,507,486 dipped from €1,957,138.
Tote turnover was significantly up from 2011’s tally of €839,863 to €930,473 but €156,030 of that came from PMU pool betting in France.
