Next year's South Munster Senior Cup qualifying rounds will revert to strokeplay on a one-year trial basis

Next year's South Munster Senior Cup qualifying rounds will revert to strokeplay on a one-year trial basis. Qualifying has been by matchplay in recent years, but next year's event at Douglas golf club will revert to strokes, with the four best cards out of five counting. The leading two teams will then qualify for the matchplay stages with the runners-up playing the West Munster winners and the South winners joining three other qualifiers for the play-offs.
