THE Australian Rugby Union (ARU) yesterday named five uncapped players in a 30 man squad for tour of Europe but gave no clear indication whether a Test against England would be included.
Australia arrive in Italy on October 15th for a tour which includes Tests against Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The ARU hope an England Test can be added to the British leg of its tour and they suggested December 7th as a possible date. But the Four Home unions Tour Committee rejected it because it clashed with a match against the Barbarians.
The ARU last week suggested either November 2nd or 16th as alternative dates.
