Crossmaglen Rangers landed their eighth county title on the trot yesterday when they saw off Dromintee at Oliver Plunkett Park, Crossmaglen.

Ahead by just 0-4 to 0-3 at half-time, Rangers had to rely on the accuracy of Oisín McConville in the second half, as Dromintee stepped up the pressure.

The O'Rourke brothers - Cathal, Micheál and Martin - were in the vanguard of Dromintee's resistance, claiming nine of their 11 points and keeping the Rangers defence at full stretch.
