Armagh appeared to have defused the Queen's challenge when they extended their advantage to 0-8 to 0-4 in the third quarter.

The students burst back in the closing stages and Gerard O'Kane, along with James McGovern and Paul Turley, landed points in a tense finish that brought Queen's within a whisker of a draw.
