Each week the Irish Times writers will select their team of the weekend. At the end of the league next May, the Irish Times/AIB team of the season will be announced and the 15 players will be honoured at a lunch in Dublin. A separate competition for readers, based on the AIB League campaign, will also be held at the end of the league.
