Sir, - Since publication of my letter (May 7th) I have been assured by Dr Freyne, head of the X-Ray Department in St James's Hospital, Dublin, that the incident I described was contrary to hospital policy and practice. It is right I should acknowledge his apology as being complete and sincere.
