The object of the exercise

Sir, – Many thanks to William Reville for the very enlightening article "Aerobic exercise – the route to lifelong brain sharpness" (Science, March 19th).

He explained the significance of exercise and its importance in keeping the brain functioning,

After a few practices, I can stand on one leg for a few minutes, and then the other leg.
