Sir, – My son is wearing a school uniform for the first time this year, after being in a school with no uniform. I can just about get over the slacks that look like little suit trousers but why on earth do they have to wear a shirt and tie?
Most parents, I think, would agree that uniforms are a great idea if they are generic tracksuit pants, T-shirt and hoodie, but why the complicated, uncomfortable, impractical get up from bygone days? – Yours, etc,

Sir, – I would like if kids did not have to wear uniforms in school or in class. Why do children have to look the same? They might want to stand out.
