Sir , – While letters about the number of repeat programmes broadcast by RTÉ have frequently featured over recent months, the repeat broadcast of Ireland’s Historic Gardens is absolutely daft.
The programme was first broadcast at 6.30pm on Sunday and was repeated at 8pm on Wednesday.
People will have waken up from their snooze, induced by the sonorous voice of the presenter, between 8pm and 9pm last evening who will have thought that they had travelled back in time two days! – Yours, etc,
