Madam, – “Fine Gael and the Labour Party have pledged to fundamentally review the asylum system and consider allowing asylum-seekers to work if they get into Government” (Home News, July 8th).
It sounds like a good idea and it’s probably more likely that the asylum-seekers will actually do some work when they get into government. After all, they want to be allowed to work and the other candidates clearly don’t. – Yours, etc,
