Madam, – Donal Kennedy (February 18th) deplores the rise in the printed media of the ugly neologism "ongoing" (to replace "continuing"). A quick search on Google returns 1,260 uses on The Irish Timeswebsite of the barbarism "upcoming". I find this far more concerning.
