Sir, - Isn't it amazing to think that for years and years Catholics were told, in no uncertain terms, that to miss Mass on a Sunday was a grievous sin, and the miscreants were informed, both from the pulpit and in the confession box, that there was a strong possibility they would be condemned to hell unless they promptly mended their ways and returned to Sunday Mass.
Now one wonders what's to become of the growing multitude of Catholics across the world wh9 are, at this time, denied the spiritual benefits of the Mass for months if not years on end because there are no male celibate priests available to celebrate it for them. - Yours, etc.,
