Sir – I enjoyed an exuberant performance of Nick Drake’s All the Angels in the Everyman Theatre here in Cork a fortnight ago.
Imagine my surprise then on reading in Sara Keating's delightful interview with the playwright (The Ticket, November 20th) that "the play will receive its Irish premiere" in Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin "this week"!
However, an unflappable friend reassures me that this is merely an informal acknowledgement by a dweller in the Pale of our rebel county’s recent unilateral declaration of independence.
