Madam, – Dublin Bus could vastly improve its service by implementing the following.
First, give clear indication on timetables of what fares apply to each journey. Current timetables often show “fare stages” with no mention of prices. Second, Nitelink services should be able to accept €5 notes, or at least offer a change machine. Lastly, timetables both on dublinbus.ie and on bus stops should be updated before new schedules are implemented. An electronic system of text/e-mail alerts notifying commuters of changes before they become part of a schedule would be very helpful. – Yours, etc,
