Madam, - Your TV reviewer, Shane Hegarty, is way off the mark when it comes to the Fair City specials (December 13th). The Irish Times can hardly be rated any more after the drivel printed in last Saturday's TV review.
This reviewer obviously cannot tell the difference between quality and bad TV. The diet of talk shows etc with which he has been so capitivated over the last few years has obviously had a terrible influence on his judgment. This review was a rant. RTE and Fair City deserve an award for producing specials of this calibre. - Yours, etc.,
