Madam, – It was a pleasure to see that the final section of the M7 was able to accept traffic without the benefit of an Official Opening. Is there any chance that this will signal the end of these ridiculous ceremonies? They are no more than photo opportunities for politicians. Their silliest feature is the unveiling of a plaque stating when and by whom the opening was performed.
