Sir, – Further to Frank McNally’s list of driver plates (An Irishman’s Diary, October 20th): the letters MT for multi-tasker, TV for tunnel vision; WG, wheel gripper; R-H, roundabout-hesitant; HV hypovigilant; TD, toddler-dominated; PD, pretty dreadful; and KP, Kangaroo-petrol, all spring to mind, but in so doing, evoke memories best forgotten.
