Sir, – In your editorial of August 19th, you suggest that European solidarity and values will "triumph over the dark vision of violent extremists".
Is that “dark vision” the opposite of the wonderful “bright vision” of Europe which went to war in Iraq on a whim, inculcated horrific civil wars in Libya and Syria and is in the process of supporting war, famine and a cholera outbreak in Yemen? – Yours, etc,
