Madam, - Simon McDonnell (October 22nd) witheringly describes me as "a self-appointed guardian of the nation". May I assure him I have no pretensions whatever to that office? It belongs in effect to the film censor, Mr John Kelleher.
But if the latter appears to fail in his office, is a citizen not allowed to voice an objection and explain the reasons? - Yours, etc.,
