ASTI MEETING

Sir, - Your education correspondent reports that a Sunday Tribune journalist was "brought into" a meeting of the ASTI's central executive committee by a CEC member earlier this month and that the journalist was later asked to leave.

For the record, I attended part of the meeting at the suggestion of a senior official at the ASTI and I was not asked to leave at any stage. Yours, etc.,
