Sir, Karl Jordan's and M. L. Trant's letters (October 4th), regarding the so called violence in the All Ireland Football Final are, to say the least, questionable. I for one applaud both Mr Boothman and RTE's panel for making light of what was a storm in a teacup.
May I suggest to both letter writers that if they are worried about children's TV viewing (which, of course, is their right) they should turn off their sets.
