Sir, – Airbnb is a major BDS (Boycott, Divestments, Sanctions) target company. Airbnb is also a huge driver of Ireland’s housing crisis and Gaeltacht decline, which will take with it the Irish language if present patterns continue.

Conor Capplis’s article (“Murder most social: how to organise your own Traitors weekend”, Features, September 13th) promotes Airbnb as a fun social option without any mention that Palestinians have overwhelmingly asked us to boycott them.

Most Irish people claim to stand with Palestine, with the Irish language and against the housing crisis. A better use of a newspaper platform would be to highlight the boycott. – Mise le meas,
