Sir, – Owen Doyle does not hide his light under a bushel. The headline on his column is: “Intrusive TMO involvement cost Ospreys a famous victory against Ulster,” April 6th.

He said the TMO “entered the fray”. Is that not what he is supposed to do if it is clear and obvious to him there was a forward pass? The subsequent replay did show the pass was forward if only marginally so. That indicates to me a job well done by the officials. – Yours, etc,
