Sir, – Further to recent correspondence concerning democracy and autocracy (Letters, August 6th), it is perfectly possible to have an autocrat in a democracy – just look at Orban in Hungary and Erdogan in Turkey. Hence the coinage of the phrase “illiberal democracy”. – Yours, etc,
