In a court report in the edition of June 27th last, concerning a challenge to the legality of the detention of Jonathan O’Donnell, it was stated that Mr O’Donnell had been charged with loitering and public order offences, as was stated in the affidavit. Mr O’Donnell was actually charged with a single count under Section 8 of the Public Order Act.
An article in yesterday’s edition, concerning the death of Séamus Sorahan SC, stated that he appeared for the State in the Sallins train robbery case. He acted for the defence.
