A report in yesterday's edition concerning the Galway Film Fleadh stated that a debate due to take place today after the screening of a documentary entitled Sweet Crudeis hosted by Amnesty International. In fact, it is hosted by the film fleadh. Also, the sod-turning for the Solas arthouse cinema is not connected to the film fleadh.
A Letter to the Editorin last Tuesday's edition, concerning the pharmacy cuts, referred to a 3 per cent cut. As the letter stated later, the cut is 34 per cent.
