The heading over an article in last Wednesday’s edition, concerning the financial results for Greencore, referred to the “excellent health” of the company. In fact, the analysis stated only that the results were encouraging.
An article in last Monday’s edition, concerning Constable John Ryan, the IRA’s first Catholic RUC victim, misspelled the name of Mr Ryan’s grandson. He is Martin Jarman.
Mr Jo Leinen MEP was incorrectly identified as a Belgian Socialist in a report from the Durban climate conference in yesterday’s edition. He is a member of the German Social Democrat Party (SPD).
