It was incorrectly stated in a letter headed "Children at Risk" in yesterday's editions that Kieran McGrath worked for the Eastern Health Board. This is not the case.

A report in the editions of April 20th, which gave details of some Arts Council grant awards for this year, contained some errors. Cairdeas na bhFidleiri' s grant aid did not fall, as was the impression given by the Arts Council's list of grants; the figure for 1999's revenue funding included grant-aid carried forward from previous years.

Also, a typing error in the Arts Council's list of grants gave the impression that the Stewart Parker Trust's funding had fallen dramatically. In fact, it has fallen by only £1,000.

Where errors occur it is the policy of The Irish Times to correct or clarify as soon as practicable.
