Over 100 people between the ages of 14 and 17 are taking part in the RDS Youth Science and Arts week which began yesterday.
Participants in the six-day event can attend talks and visit art galleries or university science and engineering departments. They can also see behind the scenes in a theatre.
Four workshops are being held with guest tutors. The areas covered are creative writing, dance, art and Brazilian samba-drumming.
