LONDON - Channel 4 yesterday said it had not yet decided whether to screen a controversial comedy sketch which is certain to infuriate relatives of Yorkshire Ripper victims. Tonight's Brass Eye series could feature a dance routine entitled I'm Only a Simple Lorry Driver sung by an actor playing Peter Sutcliffe.

The satirical programme, to be shown at 9.30 p.m., features a spoof West End musical in which a "director" claims that Sutcliffe is only a "regular guy". Sutcliffe was jailed in 1981 for 13 murders and seven attempted murders.
