Mr David Wright, father of murdered loyalist leader Billy Wright had a 90-minute meeting with officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin yesterday.

The meeting in Iveagh House was arranged after Mr Wright wrote to the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern asking to meet him in person. Mr Wright said he, "had no hesitation in contacting the Dublin Government" after the British Prime Minister, Mr Blair and the Northern Secretary, Dr Mo Mowlam, refused to either address his concerns or meet him in person.
