A Cork man has been jailed for three years by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court after he admitted having LSD at his home last year. Stephen Sheehan (20), of Ardmore Avenue,

Knocknaheeney, pleaded guilty to possession of the drug for supply at his home on March 22nd, 1994. He further admitted attempted robbery at Donnellys shop, Blarney Road, Cork, two charges of unlawfully taking cars and a charge of handling a stolen car radio, all in 1994.

Judge Michael Moriarty suspended the final 18 months of the sentence.
