Final work has begun on the bridge and roundabout on the Limerick northern relief road near Barrington's Hospital

Final work has begun on the bridge and roundabout on the Limerick northern relief road near Barrington's Hospital. The work is expected to continue until March.

Traffic diversions were put into operation affecting N7 northbound and westbound traffic to Shannon, Ennis, Galway and Listowel. Traffic to Limerick city centre, Shannon and Corbally was also affected.

Traffic on the Dublin road approaching the city from Castletroy and the university is being diverted at the Parkway roundabout on to Childers Road via the city centre for access to the Ennis Road.
