New York - Peace will meet war at this week's 30th anniversary celebration of the counter-culture Woodstock music festival at the now closed Griffiss air force base in Rome, New York state.
"Frankly, it's a great culmination to where Woodstock started," says Woodstock co-founder Mr Michael Lang. "It started with protesting the Vietnam War.
"For us to be able to bring this festival all the way back to that site for the kind of event that this is, is, I think, great poetic justice."
