An 18-year-old woman was killed when her car collided with a truck in Co Laois last night.
Two other women in their late teens were seriously injured in the crash, which happened at Lea Road, Portarlington at around 10.00 p.m.
The injured were taken to hospitals in Portlaoise and Tullamore.
The dead woman's name has not yet been released by gardaí.
