A woman was killed when her motorcycle hit a pole in Co Kildare early yesterday morning. Ms Martina O'Reilly (22), from Ashgrove, Derrinturn, Co Kildare, died when the motorcycle hit the pole at Puckerstown, Kilmengue. A woman passenger was removed to Naas hospital with minor injuries.
