A 24-year-old woman has died in a road traffic incident in County Mayo.
The incident happened at around 3.30 p.m. when the woman who was riding a motorcycle went off the road and hit an embankment between Westport and Louisburgh.
Earlier today, two men died and another man was injured in a car crash outside Mountmellick in Co Laois this morning.
Two cars collided at 8 a.m. about three miles outside of Mountmellick on the Tullamore side.
The driver and passenger of one car died at the scene, and their bodies have been removed to Portlaoise Hospital.
The driver of the other car was injured, and he is being treated at Tullamore Hospital.
