A 60-year-old woman has been killed and three others injured in a road accident in Co Galway. The incident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. this morning on the N17 at Peake, Loughgeorge.
The accident involved two cars, both were travelling towards Tuam prior to the accident. The injured were taken to University College Hospital Galway. Gardai at Galway are investigating the accident.
