The woman who died in a road accident last Tuesday has been named as Ms Geraldine Woulfe (25), Cratloe, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick. The accident happened when two cars collided at Ballymorrough East, Newcastle West, Co Limerick.

Ms Woulfe's husband and baby son and the driver of the other car were treated for injuries at Limerick Regional Hospital. Her husband, Richard (28), and six-month-old son, Evan, were in a stable condition at the Limerick Regional Hospital. The baby was found in a nearby ditch having been pitched out of the car. The driver of the other car, Mr Brian Flannery, of Mount Collins, Abbeyfeale, was in a stable condition in Croom Hospital.
