A Polish woman has appeared in court in Kerry in connection with the death of her daughter last week.
The 30-year-old mother of five faced a charge of causing serious harm to the girl at their home in Tralee on August 2nd or 3rd.
The girl died at Kerry General Hospital last Friday after being admitted last week with serious head injuries.
Monica Paczkowska of 55 Killeen Woods Tralee was remanded in custody in Limerick prison for a week, she is to appear again in Tralee next Thursday.
