A 31-year-old woman was critically hurt following a stabbing incident in Bangor, Co Down yesterday evening.
The attack happened in the Ballynoe Gardens area of the town at around 6.45pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the woman was rushed to hospital where her condition is described as "critical but stable".
The PSNI has appealed to witnesses to come forward.
