A woman is being questioned tonight by PSNI detectives investigating a pensioner's murder in Co Down.

A woman is being questioned tonight by PSNI detectives investigating a pensioner's murder in Co Down.

Mrs Martha Young (86), was found dead at her home at Dungalvin, near Ballynahinch on St Stephen's Day.

Police confirmed they were treating her death as murder following a post-mortem examination. No details about how she died have been released.

A 59-year-old woman, believed to be a relative of the victim, was later arrested by police and is being held for questioning.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
