A woman died this afternoon following a fatal collision with a truck in Co Kilkenny.
The incident happened close to Mount Loftus on the Goresbridge to Graiguenamanagh road at 1. 30 p.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A toddler who was in the car was uninjured but was taken to St Luke's hospital in Kilkenny for a precautionary check-up.
The driver of the truck was also physically unharmed but is being treated for shock.
